Ridiculous to Ban Yoga...

I realise that nowadays, our Malaysian's thinking getting narrower and become obselete? By practicing yoga will draw you away to your own religion? I do not think so!! It's ridiculous to ban this and that.

Practicing yoga is like you're doing other sports. It's undeniable that yoga does contain the element of worshiping, but then I does not mean that you're worshiping to other gods or it will draw the muslim away from Allah.

I, myself a Yoga practicioner does not have any feeling that I'm "be one with god" (hindu god) because I only treat it as a workout/exercise. If they would say that those asanas (yoga postures) can draw them away from their original religion, can they prove anything out of it??

According to theStar.com and said by Norhayati Kaprawi “I don’t think it has caused any Muslim to convert to Hinduism, neither has it weakened their faith. It’s just an exercise like qigong or taichi which has its roots in Buddhism.

I have a total agree on her statements!! I really had no idea why they would have the thought of saying Yoga is a threat for muslim. It's really out of their mind! The thing that they should concern about but they never pay any attention instead, they go care all the minor issues to make it big! This is very inefficient act of them to the country!! Now, Malaysia is feeling the recession and they should give more attention to bring US out from the recession!!!!! On top of that, I think they should concern on environmental issue more instead of this? I still can see many black and think smoke that came out from the busses; an unethical company still using that busses around Penang! Shouldn't they say something on it?? There are many people still open burning which causes all the global warming...why aren't they doing something on it?? By banning the muslims from Yoga could help anything to the country??? The answer is NO!!

I really dont know why they wanna BAN the muslim from yoga..... Cant they use a proper words such as " Muslim people are discourage from practicing yoga because....". I bet this looks better and more appropriate.

I really do not understand what's the threat, as I can see there are no threats to it. I was kind of disappointed to see this news. There are a lot of benefits for practicing yoga. Look at the yoga benefits here - Yoga Benefits.

If they would say that yoga asanas is a worshiping to hindu god, then there are a lot of things shouldn't be done by the muslims, right? (I'm not going into too details) So I would say that stopping the muslims from practicing yoga is a ridiculous and nonsensical stuff!!! Should give the muslims the freedom of doing what they like.

The wonderful asanas of Yoga:

Look at the marvelous postures...you can get all the benefist from all these postures, of cause there are many other postures that give you different type of benefits too. All of these postures help us in blood circulation and etc. I see no harm or threats for the muslims to practice Yoga for their health!!

p/s: For my own opinion, I guess someone's faithfulness/fear to god is depends on themselves!! There is no point for you to come out with many rules that people can take advantage on it; meaning people can break rules!

Finale War...

Last week, I had an entry saying that I had a war to enter into Final. We have to wait for a week in order to know that whether we make it to finals or not. As for that, today is the day for the results o be announced!! I really don't know what to say...happy? sad? disappointed? satisfied?

Today I woke up quite early in the morning. Maybe due to the unconscious stress or maybe my eagerness to know the result? So, after I woke up, I walked to the kitchen like usual to drink some water. Then I headed to the bathroom to brush teeth and washed my face. I proceeded to the kitchen again and decided to fried eggs for breakfast. I even have the time to prepare it for my mom and sister XD!! After eating my breakfast, I went into my room and wanted to study for my test (Tamadun Islam & Asia - it sucks!) in the evening. I came to realise that I haven't completed my short notes that given by my lecturer. As for that, I quickly dig out my phone to call one of my classmates so that I could complete the notes for studies!! At that time, I was like 8.30 am only and my class will be started on 11am. Luckily she (Yi Lin) had woke up when I called her..Thanks God!!
Then, I quickly took my shower and proceeded to her hostel and pick her up to college. Why we went college so early when the class starts on 11am??
Ah huh!! It's because my friend told me about the announcement on the Business Game was released!! Anyway, Yi Lin is also one of the member from my group. She is also curious and anxious to know our performance. So, both of us headed to college and reached there at about 9.00 am! XD
Once we reached college, without wasting our time, we dashed up to the SBS Block - 3rd floor (the floor for the lecturers' office) to look at the announcement (notice). I don't want to elaborate much on it... See it for youself!

For your information, the company name listed according to the TOTAL marks and it's obvious that the highlighted group is the finalist company! Guess what?? My group gets the 3rd place for this round and this is to mean what??? Oh..I dont know~ *whistling*



We made it to FINAL!!!!! yea...I shall shout it again...

MY GROUP MADE IT TO FINAL!!!

HAHA... I'm quite happy for this because when during the presentation, I felt that my group did quite well compared to some other groups that I've seen!! hehe...YUP...the confidence that I had that brought me to this stage!! I never felt so happy before because I cant believe that I could make it to the final...The hardwork, sacrifies, patience and etc that I contributed worth for what I get for now. I hope and wish I could be the champion~ *LOL*
Please pray hard for me to get at least 1st Runner Up, but I wish to get the Overall Champion!!!! XD
So...Girls and Boys, Ladies and Gentlemen, Do pray for me to achieve a great and massive Income for the trade! XD THANK YOU!! *muakz*

A big "?"

After since last Wednesday's talk about our further studies in TAR college, now I'm in dilemma?
In the beginning before the talk, I've set my mind saying that I'm NOT going to leave penang!! I'll be staying in Penang to continue my degree course in SEGi college. I thought of going to SEGi college because I get to complete my degree course within a year. Besides that, I could do my degree as part time studies and I could work while pursuing studies to get experience in working life so that I can get a better job in the future.

I personally never like to stay/live in KL because:

• Live over there too hectic
• bad air quality
• make me sick of the environment

These 3 resons are enough to demotivate me from going there to studies. I know there is another option for me which is to go to Kampar, Ipoh. I definately will not go there because I cannot stand to stay in rural area. *I know that I'm a bit too picky, but this is my preference*
But somehow, I need to make a choice and adapt to its lifestyle. I would choose to go KL because I could learn how to manage stress.

Back to the main topic, the reason for me not to choose going to SEGi anymore because I'm interested to take up Institute of Charted Secretaries and Administrators (ICSA). TAR college has a very good offer which will be getting a lot of exemption (12/16). This is a lot you know?
After completing Advance Diploma in Commerce (Business Management) cum ICSA, I can get the major exemptions, which means I only left with 4 papers to be completed only. Very interesting and this attracted me so much!

Now, I'm thinking of continuing to stay in penang or pursue to KL. Although I told some of my friends that I MIGHT GO to KL...but........I actually have not make any decision yet !! *LOL* So, now is time for me to get a big headache for weeks/months?? I could be very undecisive at times..So, i'm seeking for guidance and opinion. Any one can Help??

The War to Final

Today is the evaluation for my war ( Business Game). After I've successful entered into Semi-finals, I was supposed to do certain

• Trading ( Stock Market) - buy and sell shares
• Prepare Financial Report
• Presentation

So, the trading activities started on 20/10/2008 and ended on 7/11/2008 which means, this lasted for 3 weeks. I didn't start the trading on the 1st week. I did not start on time because there was no motivation for me, and my group members was not so concern about it. As for that, they kept quiet and same goes to me! Later on, I realised that I'm out of time by a bit, so I started to do trading right after Deepavali.

When I start trading, I can comment that the market was quite sick. This is to mean, the market value keep dropping. People told me that during our 1st week of trade, the market was quite good but the following week was kind of bad. I'm lucky enough to start trading late and I'm proud of it!!! HAHAHA.....

I'm saying so because When the time I bought the shares at a low value and sold off when the market getting better. This is to mean, what I sold was making profits. Of cause I'm smart enough not to sell off my shares at a lower value, right??. However, there are some groups sold off their stocks at a lower value - meaning that they sold of the stocks at a lower value of the break even price or even worse, sold of the stocks at the value which is lower than original value. Maybe they are scared and impatient?? I'm not in the position to comment on that, but it's not wise to do so~ XD

So, after the trading, We are supposed to prepare a Financial report + presentation for a further evaluation. Today, is the day for our presentation evaluation. I was kind of proud of my team that could make it until today. Besides that, I'm hopping that my team could go for Finals if I have the chance.
